Fees depend on who is paying for the assessment. There are a number of different funding options depending on your situation. For example, you may have access to the NDIS, iCare, Work Cover, other insurance or compensation, or Department of Veteran Affairs. Each of these schemes pays for Neuropsychology Assessment at a different rate. We will quote and organise funding accordingly, based on needing a total of 8 - 12 hours to complete all aspects of the assessment.

Unfortunately, there is no Medicare rebate for comprehensive Neuropsychology Assessment at this stage. You may be able to access rebates for more brief cognitive screening through a Chronic Disease Management plan (e.g. after stroke) or a Complex Neurodevelopmental Disorders referral (up to the age of 25 years).

If you have no access to funding and you need to pay for the assessment yourself, the rate is $180/hour (a concession rate is also available). A quote will be agreed upon based on your needs. As above, a full assessment usually requires 8 - 12 hours of work depending on the complexity of your situation. In some situations, briefer cognitive screening may be appropriate.

Cancellation fees also apply (please ask us to see our policy). We take a $200 deposit for privately-paying neuropsychology assessments in order to secure your booking and act as a cancellation fee if needed.

Note: The Australian Psychological Society recommends a fee of $311/hour (2024-2025 Fee Schedule). We are committed to making Neuropsychology services accessible, therefore we keep our rates low for privately paying clients.
